Data Science Cloud Engineer | Remote position within the US
Are you an innovator and problem solver who can help bridge the gap between technology and analytics? We are looking for a Data Science Cloud Engineer to be part of our analytics and product development team. You will be an integral member of our agile team responsible for the creation and development of unique data analytic applications and data products. You will not only create analytic tools but then use those tools to solve client challenges.
Design, develop and construct custom analytics applications and data products
Develop and enhance automation and monitoring solutions using Lambdas and other AWS services into repeatable infrastructure.
Synthesize complex data sets from multiple sources into manageable and understandable datasets, using Python, to enable predictive modeling, adhoc analytics and data visualization.
Build analytic solutions including predictive models, exploratory and in-depth analyses, data visualizations to deliver insightful and actionable recommendation.
Education and minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field, or commensurate experience
Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL
Visualization and reporting tool knowledge: Tableau, PowerBI, and Quicksight
Experience with AWS Cloud Native Solutions development, including Lambda, Glue and Athena
Familiarity with productized code, including object-oriented programming
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform and bash) is preferred
Experience with source control and automated deployment pipelines (git and docker containers)
Experience analyzing data elements and building/deploying predictive models with various ML methodologies and techniques
Experience with developing solutions on cloud computing services and infrastructure in the data and analytics space
Proven independent problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
