Data Analyst
ICF is hiring a Data Analyst in a classified role responsible for building shared knowledge, designing innovative solutions, and forging change by developing and maintaining data visually. In this role you will be directly responsible for:
Compiling and maintaining data metrics in the form of weekly, monthly, or quarterly internal and external reports by extracting facility clearance information from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security agency (DCSA) repository, National Industrial Security System (NISS).
Working with field office personnel, such as Field Office Chiefs, in support of their metric needs by displaying their monthly, quarterly, or yearly activity via dashboards
Providing support in planning and developing metric needs for newly designated DCSA systems
Maintaining data governance and compliance within the DCSA NISS database by consistently meeting with field personnel and ensuring inputted data is free of error
Being a single point of contact for DCSA customers’ technical questions, concerns, or issues related to the DCSA NISS database.
More generally, this role may involve any from among the following activities:
Attend designated meetings as required to assist with various portfolio and program needs, such as system development planning and requirements gathering meetings
Work alongside the NISS development team to perform system testing along with system recovery efforts in support of scheduled system deployments for DCSA databases
Provide data metrics to Senior DCSA Staff in support of the creation or presentation of a wide variety of internal documentation to include reports, spreadsheets, presentations, quarterly newsletters, etc.
Assist with posting Job Aids/Training Resources for internal and external users which could involve ability to work with HTML coding to DCSA systems
DCSA is operating under abbreviated telework during current the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon reconstitution of the building following COVID-19, you will work on-site in Quantico, VA, and will work closely with a team of government personnel supporting the Critical Technology Protection Center.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in business or related discipline
Experience demonstrating ability to proficiently work in Excel, or other analytical software, to conduct quantitative analyses
Experience drafting project/client correspondence to address program needs
Experience using databases to extract information
Active Secret Security Clearance
Professional Skills/Experience:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Must have initiative and work under minimal guidance
Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
Strong customer service focus, project planning, and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral
