We’re currently hiring for a Communications Specialist.

We're searching for our next Communications Specialist to work with our clients on strategic internal communications to support IT projects. You’ll make a real impact working directly with our clients to address and solve key their key issues, drive change, and grow our business.
You’ll have government communications experience and are passionate and knowledgeable about engaging with Internal stakeholders and honing messages that are spot on. Position is based in the DC Metro area. Minimal travel is required.
As a Communications Specialist, you will:
Review communications options available to the program team and help prioritize the most effective, efficient, and powerful communication to amplify the intended goals of projects and programs.
Develop communication initiatives to raise awareness of program issues or releases.
Work with client team to manage the development of graphic design of infographics and visuals, developing brand identities, website layout and design, and specific high-stake communications.
Translate highly technical information into easy-to-understand, non-technical marketing content geared towards an internal employee audience.
Maintain and update strategic communications plans.
Develop a framework to respond to customer inquiries.
Manage communication requests from contractors and employees.
Prioritize customer requests for meetings.
Manage updates to the service portal (with support from the team).
As a Communications Specialist, you will have:
Five or more years of consulting experience.
Degree in communications or relevant field.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines at once.
Excellent verbal, written, organizational and project management skills.
Ability to develop, document and publish information technology processes.
Ability to understand, interpret and translate complex and technical information.
Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.

Job Location(s): Within the current landscape, this role will be supported remotely. This role will ultimately sit in Fairfax, VA, when remote working guidelines are lifted.
