We’re currently hiring for a Communications Associate, Health.
As a Communications Associate, Health, you will:
Support project managers in strategic communications planning, assisting with digital communications, campaign, materials development, and stakeholder outreach.
Synthesizes complex health information and data to deliver impactful messaging tailored to specific target audiences.
Provide administrative and logistics support across projects with a focus on materials development including managing project timelines, meetings, deliverables, and work plans.
Own project tasks, with oversight from senior team members, and complete key deliverables.
Support implementation of communication strategies and tactics to reach and engage audiences to increase visibility of government data, resources, and materials.
As a Communications Associate, Health, you will have:
Bachelor’s degree in public health, health communication, public relations, social sciences, or equivalent required.
2+ years of communications experience, government experience preferred.
Experience with federal health agencies, developing, and implementing public health communications campaigns.
Experience developing communication materials or resources for various types of healthcare professionals.
Demonstrated experience supporting and delivering webinar training initiatives leveraging platforms like MS Teams, Zoom and WebEx, preferred.
Demonstrated understanding and experience with the development of communications and marketing materials from inception to launch, including multi-media production.
Proven experience developing marketing and communications materials engaging multicultural audiences.
Strong writing skills for various channels including web content, social media, news releases, fact sheets and newsletter copy.
Ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to clients’ communications challenges/problems.
Job Location(s): Within the current COVID-19 landscape, this role will be supported remotely.
