ICF is currently seeking On-Call (Temporary) Coder/Analysts to be based in the Sacramento, CA area. Analysts will work on a temporary short-term/full-time (40 hours/week) basis for 6–12 weeks.
The Coder/Analyst provides hands on analysis of public concerns and issues. Coders must code or parcel out pertinent information related to the project being responded to. Will discern the difference between subjects and topics and have a background varied enough to understand connections between issues and link the findings both temporally and spatially.
Positions are based out of Sacramento, CA with the option to work remotely with the Pacific Standard Time zone.
Examination: A timed 20-minute test to measure aptitude for textual analysis will be emailed as a PDF to applicants that meet the minimum requirements. You will need to open and modify the PDF using the free Acrobat Reader. We recommend you have access or download the Adobe application before the test is emailed to you.
What You Must Have
BS or BA degree in Biological, Social or Physical Sciences or Humanities such as English, Philosophy, or History.
Experience with environmental policies/regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work on a large multi-disciplinary team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Excellent organization and high attention to detail.
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and commitment to producing quality work.
What We’d Like You to Have
Performance Based Service Contracts training or experience
Experience with environmental policies/regulations including specialized experience in the National Environmental Policy Act, California Environmental Quality Act
