Client Liaison – Victim Services

ICF is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Client Liaison to work on a large-scale victim services project focused on providing training and technical assistance (TTA) to state, local, and tribal agencies to increase the nation’s capacity to serve crime victims. As part of this team, you will support the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) and the project team by moving deliverables, navigating complex systems, forging strategic relationships, and maintaining/enhancing project systems and processes.

This position requires working at the Washington DC client site on a part-time basis, remaining time to be worked remote.

Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Serving as a primary Point of Contact for OVC and supporting the Project Director and Operations Manager as required
  • Maintaining  and improving systems and processes (i.e., deliverables trackers that serve the client;
  • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with the OVC, project team, and across ICF
  • Tracking and ensuring finalization of project deliverables
  • Assisting the project  team with navigating established processes and anticipating client needs
  • Writing project reports and providing detailed responses to client inquiries
  • Developing work plans and tracking milestones and timelines for multiple meetings and conferences simultaneously. 
  • Coordinating logistics for webinars, including setting up the webinar platform, producing webinars, and editing transcriptions and a summary of the meeting as assigned. 
  • Providing support for virtual and in-person conferences including coordination of pre-conference needs including dry runs for attendees, all day of needs, and follow up needs for reporting and lessons learned. 
  • Contributing to rapid response client inquiries and development of ad hoc reports
  • Participating in client meetings and producing meeting summaries as needed
  • Maintaining an event calendar
  • Supporting the development of conference cost requests and reports

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an accredited university
  • A minimum of 5 years experience supporting Federal clients
  • Experience with coordinating online events and meetings on WebEx and Zoom platforms  
  • Experience in translating meeting notes into documents for client review
  • Understanding of SharePoint, MS Teams, and other management systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.

  • Preferably has experience working with or for government clients
  • Demonstrates the ability to orchestrate the conversations that lead to innovation and meaningful impact.
