We’re seeking a Business Development & Capture Analyst to grow into a Capture Manager role and drive positioning and capture of new business development opportunities within our Energy, Environment, and Infrastructure (EEI) business. You will join a team of supportive and dedicated business development professionals who are passionate about winning meaningful work and helping our clients solve their toughest challenges.
You will support and guide strategy discussions and positioning activities for a wide range of opportunities and initiatives. Working collaboratively with market and business development leaders, the focus is on climate & resilience and environment & planning and related opportunities across our transportation, water, and energy sectors. You will work with subject matter experts in a strategic and tactical environment to maximize ICF’s win probability.

Your Responsibilities
As a key member of the business development team, the Business Development and Capture Analyst supports ICF’s overall business development and capture functions by:
Providing broad support for the cross-group capture and business development team.
Providing coordination and support for capture activities including working with teams to qualify opportunities, facilitate development of win themes, develop teaming strategies, devising call plans, research, and keeping teams moving towards an increased win probability.
Providing coordination and support to large, priority initiatives as they emerge such as market-specific business development plans, researching and summarizing available legislation and funding affecting clients, fiscal year business development plans, account management efforts, etc.
Coordinating proposal resources for key opportunities in the pipeline.
Fielding web inquiries and diverting to appropriate internal contact and ensure follow up.
Supporting sales pipeline accuracy through coordination and outreach to team members and assisting in monthly sales/pipeline and other reporting requests.
Coordinating BD meetings including setting agenda and helping meeting attendees to follow up on action items.
What You Must Bring with You:
5+ years of overall experience, which must include 3+ years supporting business development and captures for a mix of state, federal, or commercial clients.
Bachelor’s degree, or years of experience in lieu of.
What We’d Like You to Bring with You:
Direct experience in the climate and energy space relevant to the delivery of professional services.
Understanding of the role of captures and proposals in the business development lifecycle of a professional services firm.
Professional Skills:
Experience researching various captures and business development initiatives, analyzing results, and making key recommendations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including engaging with senior decision makers with clear, actionable requests and expectations.
Ability to prioritize effectively in limited time frames; address ad-hoc requests while maintaining focus on longer-term goals.
Desire to develop facilitation skills, including facilitating virtual meetings and workshops.
Desire to learn and grow in a BD-focused career.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to gain proficiency with SharePoint and Dynamics.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$68,325.00 - $116,152.00
