 B2B Strategic Marketing Specialist- Remote

As the B2B  Strategic Marketing Specialist, you will help execute initiatives that raise ICF’s profile, scale our impact through targeted talent development and internal engagement activities, and expand our external market presence through Thought Leadership and other client-facing channels.  

You’ll be a member of our core strategic team with access to some of our most senior subject matter experts. In this role, you’ll work with cross-functional teams including business development, corporate communications, media, creative, and outreach to help shape and deliver the right story and approach to grow our commercial energy work. You’ll work hands-on with some of our top clients to provide marketing advisory services, conduct stakeholder workshops, and oversee marketing and outreach campaign development and execution.

What you will be doing: 

  • Manage project deliverables and provide strategic B2B marketing consultation to leading clients 

  • Assist in facilitating strategic brainstorm sessions, prepare reports, and deliver presentations 

  • Partner with key internal stakeholders (including business development, corporate marketing, and energy advisory services teams) to produce templates, guides, tools, infographics, videos, and Thought Leadership pieces  

  • Create and execute marketing and promotional strategies, specifically in the digital space including social media environments  

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to conduct market research and help inform the right strategies and deliver the right tactics 

  • Maintain and coordinate internal resources that empower and rally our teams around our strategies   

  • Track and report on our success through executive briefings, presentations, and other channels 

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related subject) 

  • 5+ years of work experience in marketing, advertising, social marketing, or related field. 

  • 1 + years of experience conceptualizing and developing educational marketing and/or outreach materials 

What we would like you to have: 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the energy sector  

  • Education or certification in B2B marketing and/or Account Based Marketing  

  • Experience supporting outreach or sales teams 

  • Experience writing and publishing articles, blogs, papers 

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills 

  • Well-organized with a can-do attitude and the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively 

  • Energetic, self-starter and resourceful, analytical problem solver  

  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information 

  • Confidence to work with all levels of internal employees, clients and partners independently as needed 

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams)  

  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final salary for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
