Aviation Associate - Middle East

ICF is currently undertaking a number of exciting aviation consulting assignments in the Middle East and are looking to grow our on-site team. As an Associate in our on-site team, you will be responsible for leading consultancy tasks on our ongoing projects, delivering solutions to problems using a variety of analytical techniques, handling day-to-day communication with clients and working collaboratively with the wider ICF team. Your role will also include some administrative and project management related responsibilities such as developing budgets and scopes of work, project tracking, and liaising with ICF’s Contracts and Finance teams.

This position will be a Fixed Term Contract on-site with our client in the Middle East on a flexible shift pattern. (expected typical pattern: 3 weeks on site, 1 week off)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a member of a consulting team on on-site client-based projects

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data in support of assessments

  • Interface with clients to gather data and present results of studies and analyses

  • Write reports and presentations to synthesize and explain analyses

  • Creatively and proactively use aviation industry data sources and prior experience to contribute to project solutions and deliverables

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree educated from a reputable institution.

  • 3+ years of work experience in roles that clearly demonstrated analytical or strategic problem solving; management consulting ideal, other corporate or professional services also accepted

  • Previous experience in aviation sector preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word & Excel).

Professional Skills:

  • Strong analytical aptitude and working knowledge of analytical or quantitative methods;

  • Strong oral and written communications skills in English;

  • Ability to work independently, on a client site, as well as collaboratively with project team and client to achieve goals;

  • Organises written work in a manner that is easy to follow, and tailored for the intended audience;

  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills and subject areas key;

  • People management experience a plus; direct or cross functional;

  • Comfort operating within a flat organizational structure and agile working environment;

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Establish rapport and productive working relationships quickly, with a diverse and dynamic project team
