Associate Project Manager, Cyber Exchange

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Associate Program Manager to support a Federal Cybersecurity Client. The individual will be part of our high-performing Operational Engagement and Outreach team charged with managing a team of technical writing, communications, and event specialist. This position will work closely with the Director of Operational Engagement and Outreach and will be charged with the management of a high visibility client. A successful candidate will be a strong people manager and problem-solver with a high attention to detail. In addition, successful applicants will demonstrate an ability and desire to continually learn new technologies in a changing environment; analytical and problem-solving way of thought; overall resilient, flexible, and enthusiastic personality.

This position will be a hybrid of remote and onsite in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Work closely with government stakeholders, speakers, to execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Support, coordinate, brief, and execute internal and external communications to multiple stakeholders and customers
  • Managing various client related special projects and support an integral role in division wide process improvement and operating model transformation.
  • Apply functional and general industry knowledge to help government stakeholders strategize and plan events that meet their objectives
  • Document and manage internal processes improvements and best practices.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of communications and events to recommend changes or improvements.
  • Establish priorities, deadlines, and strategies working to deliver high quality products on time in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, organization, attention to detail, ability to work autonomously.
  • Maintain visibility on all ongoing projects and support the successful completion of high-quality work.
  • Work proactively to identify new opportunities for collaboration, process improvement, and communications.

Required Experience:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a management capacity.
  • 1+ year(s) supporting a Federal Client
  • U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position).

Preferred Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong project management skills, organization, attention to detail, ability to work autonomously and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Cybersecurity or Cyber Operations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience supporting senior-level executives, preferably in high technology or science-based industries.
  • Experience supervising teams of 8 or more people at a time.
  • Ability to easily communicate with senior government clients, lead discussions, and confidently discuss project status and propose solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with clients to develop clear expectations, roles, and requirements for short and long-term projects.
