IT Business Analyst
ICF is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst for the The Air Reserve Personnel Center (ARPC) Innovation Projects team to support the integration of business processes, human capital, and technology personnel service delivery solutions at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, CO.
This position is temporarily based from home due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We will continue to make decisions pertaining to office access based on public health directives and guidance, practicality, and overall business requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Proposed technical solutions to business problems in high-quality decisions packages and requirements documents.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders of varying degrees of analytical and technical skills to generate understanding, buy-in, and support. Proactively facilitate development of an overall strategy for the organization.
Research and identify industry best practices and emerging IT solutions that address client challenges; evaluate potential areas for client performance enhancement and quantity improvements to the organization if adopted.
Use your analytical reasoning skills to gain an understanding root problem, define objectives for the organization, and formalize data requirements for various types of problems.
Apply cross-functional knowledge in the planning, integration, acquisition, sustainment, and/or modifications to provide substantiation of recommended solutions or products.
Provide technical work products and presentation materials in the form of task-specific reports, informal analyses, papers, opinions, databases, briefings, etc.
Document the current processes and environment, develop and evaluate implementation plans for process improvement, human capital management, and technology enhancements that will provide a comprehensive blueprint for the future.
Minimum/General Experience, Education and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
5 plus years of experience in conducting organizational analysis and fact-based, systematic approach to problem-solving initiatives for high-complexity projects.
5 plus years of experience related to business analysis and/or business relationship management and performance of business process definition and business process modeling, and information system schemes.
2 years of Agile software development experience
Ability to acquire NACI
Preferred Skills:
Master’s degree or higher in related field is desired.
Innovative approaches, a broad understanding of program/process requirements, and the capability to interpret, integrate, and disseminate large volumes of information.
United States Air Force or related program experience.
In accordance with the EPEWA, based on the qualifications and experience required, the annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year. For more information regarding our benefits, click here.
