Onsite Digital Content Manager
We’re looking for a Digital Content Manager to join our team at ICF!
Our innovative digital solutions team is seeking a content manager to provide full-time support to the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities. This position requires strong communication skills, working knowledge of digital content management systems, a high degree of professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and stay flexible. This position will be on-site in Bethesda, MD (post-COVID).
What you will be doing:
Work in a content management system to manage NIMHD website content, including updating existing content and adding new content
Lead digital media management, including email subscription services, social media channels, and related inquiry response and coordinate with staff who work directly with these platforms
Act as client-facing liaison between staff requesting web updates and web-related projects
Ensure quality standards and best practices are met for web and other digital products
Develop and maintain a digital media plan to communicate information to the public
Maintain knowledge and awareness of federal web and digital media practices
Maintain record keeping as directed by federal web and social media guidelines
Stay current and advise on emerging trends and technologies
You will have:
Bachelor's degree
2+ years experience working in content management systems
Experience with public sector websites and applications preferred
Public health experience preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on attention to detail
Ability to work with all levels of internal and external staff
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Customer service focused with the drive to solve tough problems
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude
