Onsite Digital Content Manager

We’re looking for a Digital Content Manager to join our team at ICF!

Our innovative digital solutions team is seeking a content manager to provide full-time support to the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities. This position requires strong communication skills, working knowledge of digital content management systems, a high degree of professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and stay flexible. This position will be on-site in Bethesda, MD (post-COVID).

What you will be doing:

  • Work in a content management system to manage NIMHD website content, including updating existing content and adding new content

  • Lead digital media management, including email subscription services, social media channels, and related inquiry response and coordinate with staff who work directly with these platforms

  • Act as client-facing liaison between staff requesting web updates and web-related projects

  • Ensure quality standards and best practices are met for web and other digital products

  • Develop and maintain a digital media plan to communicate information to the public

  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of federal web and digital media practices

  • Maintain record keeping as directed by federal web and social media guidelines

  • Stay current and advise on emerging trends and technologies

You will have:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years experience working in content management systems

  • Experience with public sector websites and applications preferred

  • Public health experience preferred

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on attention to detail

  • Ability to work with all levels of internal and external staff

  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

  • Customer service focused with the drive to solve tough problems

  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude
