We’re searching for our next communications manager who can take charge and spearhead our communications efforts with our federal clients, including transportation, cybersecurity, energy, and disaster management.
We are currently hiring an onsite Marketing and Communications Specialist to support our Federal safety and anti-terrorism client. We help our clients communicate how their critical work is making our country stronger and safer. This position will sit on-site (post-COVID) but will start remote/work from home and is contingent upon being able to secure a public trust clearance.
As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will:
Support stakeholder engagement and outreach work
Assist with drafting and creating strategic engagement plans
Execute stakeholder engagement and outreach plans
Track team tasks and deadlines; manage the administrative processes
Provide reports and updates to senior level staff members and leadership
Research potential stakeholders and partners and help recommend ways to engage with current stakeholders
As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will have:
The ability to work collaboratively and with a team
Interpersonal skills; the ability to pick up a phone and call or communicate high priority stakeholders/partners
3 or more years relevant professional experience
Support team with strategic suggestions and recommendations
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities
Experience working comfortably in a demanding, deadline-oriented environment
Energetic, self-starter, and resourceful problem solver; can-do attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
Microsoft Office expertise and skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Public trust clearance preferred but not required (will need to secure a public trust clearance)
Job Location(s): This role will ultimately be required individual to sit onsite at the client headquarters in Washington, DC, which is Metro-accessible. There is no on-site parking available.
