To support our growth, we are seeking a candidate to provide planning and coordination for the communication strategies and approach for the Energy, Environment and Infrastructure (EEI) group. The successful candidate will support and coordinate messages and events across multiple communication channels supporting a large department of industry experts; work independently and supervised to monitor the effectiveness of communication; and will be comfortable supporting multiple projects simultaneously. Ideal candidates will have communications or marketing experience as well as interest, knowledge and/or experience working in a consulting environment and supporting several lines of business.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Assisting Communications Manager with internal promotions, social media, strategic communication initiatives.
Facilitate or support thought leadership around new communication capabilities and offerings.
Assist and support the creation of emails, newsletters, and other creative content for outreach to the employee populations across existing communication channels.
Support implementation and maintenance of assigned communication projects or tasks
Support internal group coordination on tactical issues such as increasing conference/all hands attendance and assessing the effectiveness of communication strategies.
Plan, prepare, produce, and participate in Group wide meetings.
Secondary Job Responsibilities:
Supporting leadership team with preparation for strategic communications, and other duties as required.
Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, and SharePoint sites that support group communication.
Maintain/Update corporate initiative calendar in support of group and corporate messaging alignment
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, or related subject
1+ years of experience in communications or marketing (internships and volunteer experiences applicable)
2+ years of Microsoft Office to include advanced Excel experience
Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Word experience
Familiarity with the energy industry
Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills with a strength in written and verbal communication
