Consultant - Monitoring and Evaluation (Communication activities)
Do ‘awareness’, ‘baseline’ and ‘CPC’ ring a bell? Are you interested in research and communication campaigns from A/B testing to Zero Moment of Truth? Then this may be for you. We are expanding our services and are looking for a communication research consultant to support us in this innovative area. The role will involve evaluation and monitoring of large-scale communication activities, mostly implemented by EU institutions and agencies. Shaping and innovating our business offer, the position will offer you a great opportunity to bring in fresh ideas and solutions. Among others, you will be:
Contributing to design and delivery of research methodologies
Setting Key Performance Indicators and related research methods
Testing campaign reach and recall
Implementing baseline and post-campaign studies
Undertaking needs and target group analysis
Assessing and informing campaign strategy
Assessing virtual and physical events
Implementing ongoing performance monitoring, optimisation and periodic evaluation
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Create innovative solutions to tender requests and contribute to preparation of winning proposals
Develop and implement methodologies to measure, monitor, optimise and evaluate impact of communication activities
Contribute to successful project delivery in close collaboration with the project team
Undertake quantitative and qualitative research and analysis (i.e. surveys, interviews, focus groups) before, during and after campaigns
Analyse and triangulate evidence based on own and existing research, write corresponding reports and sections
Innovate our work through proposing new methodologies and solutions
Who we are looking for:
Master’s degree in political science, public policy, communication, or a related discipline
Around three years’ work experience in research and evaluation of EU policies and programmes, related to communication activities and campaigns. Knowledge of the Commission’s Better Regulation Guidelines is an asset.
Understanding of communication landscape and interest in research related to communication activities
Good qualitative and quantitative research and analytical skills
Experience with setting key performance indicators along with corresponding data sources
Advanced computer user skills (Microsoft applications).
Demonstrable experience with website analytics, social media metrics and PESO media is an asset.
Highly developed, interpersonal skills and self-motivation
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
