Capture Manager - Disaster Management

We provide professional services and technical solutions that maximize impacts for people, businesses, and government in areas critical to the world's future.
You will guide strategy discussions and positioning activities for specific opportunities in Puerto Rico. In addition to provide strategic and tactical leadership, working with subject matter experts, to drive external and internal activities to increase our likelihood to win.
What you’ll be doing.
Leading the pursuit team to fully qualify the opportunity to confirm that the win is achievable and to increase the probability of winning throughout the capture process.
Leading the development of the win strategy and identify critical activities and resources needed to increase the win probability.
Ensuring client-focused activities are taking place, including setting up and attending key client and stakeholder meetings in concert with the capture team throughout the life of the pursuit.
Sourcing teaming partners and negotiate teaming agreements and work share, including MBE/WBE participation as appropriate, prior to RFP release.
Obsessing over customers to ensure win strategies and differentiators are compelling and positioned relative to their priorities, etc.
Collaborating with the solution lead/subject matter expert to develop a technical solution that is presented to the client.
Working with marketing to develop necessary thought leadership, campaign, or social media activity.
Serving as a color team reviewer during the proposal development phase to connect the customer problems to the capture solution through to the final proposal.
What you must have:
Five+ years of business development experience cultivating clients and potential teaming partners, preferably with professional services firm(s) serving state and local government clients.
Five+ year of proposal process experience, specifically out-front capture (teaming partners, staffing, client needs, etc.)
Ability to demonstrate successful relationship development and positioning resulting in new awarded programs.
Bilingual (Spanish and English)
Strong relationship management skills, emphasizing active listening and communications.
Agile decision-making, valuing diversity of thought, with the ability to apply sound judgment to make informed decisions.
Ability to identify and facilitate the assignment and allocation of resources and prioritize effectively in limited time frames to ensure engagement to achieve desired objectives and established milestones.
Demonstrated competence in leading and influencing high-performance teams.
Customer focus, with the ability to decipher customer environment and interpret into specific needs.
You are a leader with a clear vision and strong ethical compass.
