On-Call Senior Production Artist

We’re currently hiring for a Production Designer (On-Call).

Job Location: This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere in the US.

As a Production Artist (On-Call), you will:

• Support public- and private-sector clients who tackle issues like HIV/AIDS, disaster preparedness, human trafficking, climate change, child welfare, and more.

• Collaborate closely with art directors, designers and developers.

• Must be detail oriented, with great time management skills.

• Prepare final production ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing and digital specifications.

• Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners.

• Create PDFs for print and client review, with the ability to edit PDFs to be optimize for sending via email.

• Retouch images for online and mobile applications.

• Catalog and reference art and creative assets for future projects within our digital asset manager and within different client folders.

• Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the internal creative and account teams as well as external printer vendors.

As a Production Artist (On-Call), you will have:

• Three (3) or more years of creative experience within agency and/or marketing environments.

• A Bachelor’s degree, required.

• A solid knowledge of printing and digital processes and experience working with preflight tools. A strong experience using the Adobe Creative Suite; Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.

• The ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in a high-speed environment.

• An exceptional eye for detail and accuracy.

• Proven excellence in design and layout in both print and digital media

• An ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
