On-Call Senior Production Artist

We’re currently hiring for a Production Designer (On-Call).
Job Location: This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere in the US.
As a Production Artist (On-Call), you will:
Support public- and private-sector clients who tackle issues like HIV/AIDS, disaster preparedness, human trafficking, climate change, child welfare, and more.
Collaborate closely with art directors, designers and developers.
Must be detail oriented, with great time management skills.
Prepare final production ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing and digital specifications.
Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners.
Create PDFs for print and client review, with the ability to edit PDFs to be optimize for sending via email.
Retouch images for online and mobile applications.
Catalog and reference art and creative assets for future projects within our digital asset manager and within different client folders.
Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the internal creative and account teams as well as external printer vendors.
As a Production Artist (On-Call), you will have:
Three (3) or more years of creative experience within agency and/or marketing environments.
A Bachelor’s degree, required.
A solid knowledge of printing and digital processes and experience working with preflight tools. A strong experience using the Adobe Creative Suite; Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
The ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in a high-speed environment.
An exceptional eye for detail and accuracy.
Proven excellence in design and layout in both print and digital media
An ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
