Project Coordinator - Regina Saskatoon

POSITION: Project Coordinator

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Part-Time

LOCATION: Regina, Saskatoon, other SK locations

RATE OF PAY: $18-25 per hour dependent on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Project Coordinators report to local office management and assists with various tasks related to energy efficiency program delivery for electrical and gas utility clients across Canada. Working with a diverse team, the project coordinator will schedule program leads, coordinate with field installers of lights, water saving devices, and other electricity and natural gas saving technologies, and inspect the installation against workorders. Daily interactions with staff and clients will require a candidate with a professional and positive demeanor. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following items:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote the participation in energy efficiency programs to stakeholders such as lighting distributors, electrical contractors, renovation companies, residential housing management companies, and First Nations communities
  • Site visit scheduling for the installation of efficient lighting and water reduction measures from initial lead, to the arrival of installation contractors, to quality control inspections and post visit survey
  • Provide exemplary service while educating consumers and contractors on active rebate program features, service offerings, program value and benefits
  • Identify and resolve customer issues with professionalism and with the collaboration of cross functional team members
  • Manage and track inventory of direct install measures for both internal auditing staff and program subcontractors
  • Contribute to the continued development of auditing staff by engaging in the enhancement of their audit performance and reporting productivity, building science knowledge, and customer-facing communication skills
  • Coordinate with or follow up on program Quality Assurance activities such as field inspections and customer surveys, as appropriate
  • Interact with homeowners and tenants, answering questions regarding energy efficiency and recommend next steps
  • Document review using Microsoft Office (mostly Word, Excel) and Adobe reader
  • Prepare basic form letters, transmittals, and marketing text
  • 25% travel

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School Diploma + 2 years related work experience managing operations or service crews
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Word, Excel, Abobe reader experience
  • Ability to install basic home items such as light bulbs, showerheads, and potentially thermostats with training
  • Able to lift boxes no heavier than 30 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, driving, walking, standing, above head arm movements
  • Valid drivers license 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, particularly contracting
  • Experience with the coordination of teams in a work environment
  • A successful track record of providing excellent customer service
  • Interested in an environmentally based consulting firm
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English
  • Writing skills including editing, content development and publishing are considered an asset 

Please note, this position will start as Part -Time, however, it can lead to Full-Time in the near future.
