Senior Engineer/Scientist 5 - Systems Engineer
ICF is seeking an experienced Sr. Engineer/Scientist 5 - Systems Engineer for a large scale DoD program in Charleston SC.
The contractor shall provide systems engineering support in a research/lab operating environment utilizing workstations & servers running Red Hat Enterprise, Ubuntu and OS X operating systems in both virtual and clustered environments.
Minimum Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
DOD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (SSCP, SCNP, Security+ CE, or GSEC)
15+ years of relevant IT experience: Information Systems, Systems engineering, design and administration to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, and Test & Evaluation Criteria in support of enterprise systems
Five (5) years of technical experience in support of system implementation and installations
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels to explain and elaborate on technical detailed analysis
RHEL design, integration and testing of enterprise systems
Proficient in scripting using BASH, PERL, Python, or similar language
Server and application monitoring using tools such as Solarwinds and Splunk
Engineering, design, and implementation of virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix, etc.)
NetApp, Nutanix, Veeam
DevOps tools(Ansible, Chef, Puppet, BMC)
