IT Customer Support Specialist

ICF is seeking an IT Customer Support Specialist to diagnose and resolve problems in response to customer reported incidents in support of a large scale DoD Navy contract in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Researching, evaluating, and providing feedback on problematic trends and patterns in customer support requirements

  • Developing and maintaining problem tracking and resolution databases

  • Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining customer hardware and software

  • Developing recommendations for customer service performance requirements

  • Developing recommendations for customer support policies, procedures, and standards

  • Providing customer training and ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of customer support services

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of IT customer support experience on a DOD program
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Security clearance required - DOD preferred
  • Knowledge of network and systems technologies and security protocols
  • certifications
  • Strong initiative and a personal interest in Information Technology Security
  • People skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various clients with the ability to explain and elaborate on technical details

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
