Job Description
The Health, Science, and Human Services (HS2) Division of ICF provides a broad range of services related to Biomedical Informatics support for the Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS) in the DC–metro area. We are currently seeking an experienced, versatile IT Image Standardization Specialist to support our project. To be successful in this role candidate must be a self-starter and possess a combination of technical experience developing standardized images, excellent people skills, and commitment necessary for delivering quality services to meet client’s expectations.

This position requires daily onsite presence at our client location in Bethesda, Maryland.
Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and define best practices for standardizing images for both PCs and MACs
  • Inventory and assess standard desktop/laptop capabilities to meet user needs and accommodate future growth and requirements
  • Assist in developing standard desktop/laptop specifications to pilot scripted and automated deployment and onsite migration, including staging, configuration, load, and testing
  • Perform cost-and-benefit analysis for manufacturer customization, third party warehouse/ALCT, client site staging, and deskside migration
  • Assess and recommend system management tools and consoles, as well as proper backups or system images, for managing and maintaining a collection of standard desktops/laptops for all enterprise-wide users
  • Initiate, plan, manage and monitor progress of ad-hoc task requests as needed
  • Continuously assess and make effective recommendations to address any barriers or obstacles to achieving project goals.  Maintain all relevant project documentations
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all activities are measurable, sustainable, and achieve operational impact.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT field with relevant experience in the lifecycle of IT systems
  • Proven experience with standard images
  • Exceptional collaboration and consensus building skills
  • Proven experience in effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
