The Workforce Innovations and Poverty Solutions (WIPS) Team provides rigorous research, evaluation and technical assistance to address a diverse set of critical social issue areas including employment and workforce programs, poverty solutions, fatherhood and family support initiatives, and interventions for families in at-risk situations.

We are seeking an on-call individual with at least 25 plus years at the senior Federal and/or State levels leading Child Support Enforcement programs to provide subject matter expertise to our growing work in these fields. We want you to apply!

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provides subject matter expertise around a suite of Federal and State Child Support Enforcement programs and supporting training, technical assistance, product development, and ability to facilitate strategic planning sessions with Federal, State, and local clients and stakeholders;
  • Represents WIPS at local, state and national conferences, workshops, and other networking venues conducting presentations and engaging stakeholders; and
  • Develops partnerships with key external stakeholders and partners across social service programs, workforce development, and other partnerships.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s in social work, public policy, business, education, or related social services field.
  • Candidates that have worked for at least 15 years in the health and human services field specifically at the Federal and State leadership levels focusing on Child Support Enforcement programs.
  • 15 years of documented experience in working collaboratively with external stakeholders and partnership building across social service programs at the Federal and State levels.

Professional Skills: 

  • Ability to work both independently and on a core team of staff members
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
  • Demonstrated experience in serving on interagency committees, advisory boards, and other stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated experience working under pressure, both individually and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong presentation and communications skills
