Looking for a role to combine your Recruiting talents with your passion for making positive change in the world? ICF is hiring a seasoned Recruiter for our Justice, Welfare and Community Development Team.

You will lead recruiting efforts to attract a range of talent in the fields of Housing, Community Development, Family Self-sufficiency, Victims’ Rights, Human Trafficking and other social programs. The work is fascinating and the talent we seek is driving positive change- you can be part of that change! Positions we hire for include researchers, program managers, training and technical assistance specialists, and a range of other subject matter experts. You will partner with management to meet short- and long-term hiring goals and be a true consultant to the business.

As a Human Services Recruiter, you will:

  • Manage full life-cycle recruitment process across a variety of levels and roles within the Justice, Welfare and Community Development arena
  • Identify high quality candidates through the proactive sourcing of active and passive candidates via direct channels, job postings, social media, web sourcing, talent mapping, vendors and networking
  • Be creative and leverage internal talent sources to drive mobility, employee referrals and alumni engagement nationwide-try new things!
  • Brainstorm with the business and develop sourcing and candidate strategies, and best-practices
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, as a trusted partner and valued advisor, building a deep understanding of their business, role requirements and desired candidate profiles while delivering outstanding client service 
  • Promote ICF career opportunities to the professional community via networking, conference attendance, social media and career events. 
  • Update and maintain the Workday Applicant Tracking System, while supervising hiring processes to ensure adherence to EEO and OFCCP guidelines and other government compliance requirements

Important skills and experience:

  • Ability to find, recruit, vet, and hire relevant professionals 
  • 8+ years of client facing, full life-cycle recruiting experience
  • Confident, diligent and proactive approach
  • Demonstrate advanced and creative sourcing skills to engage passive candidates and build strong talent pipelines

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
