ICF seeks an experienced Part-Time Work-Life Advisor to support the implementation of work-life services for the Department of Transportation (DOT), a Federal Agency in Washington, DC. The on-site Work-Life Advisor will provide individual consultation and resource materials, information sessions, support groups and trainings on work-life issues such as parenting, child care, financial management, elder care, balancing work and family, and health and wellness.
The Work-Life Advisor is on-site a minimum of two days per week with daily e-mail access to ensure DOT employees nationwide have access to the services five days per week.

Provide a nationally distributed monthly newsletter and a weekly nutrition tip
Attend resource fairs
Provide individual work-life consultations
Conduct information sessions and provide resources
Lead support groups and trainings on work-life issues
Respond to email inquiries
Manage workplace lactation room
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development, Social Work, Psychology or a related field
At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in corporate work environments
A Master’s Degree in any of the above or a related field
Experience and understanding of work-life issues, policy development and best practices
Experience in working independently to develop and deliver a menu of work life services
Experience providing employee consultations, resources and referral services
Experience developing and offering training and technical assistance in the workplace on a large variety of topics for employees in all stages of their career
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills and ability to demonstrate proficiency on a large range of topics
Excellent people skills and relationship building skills with a large number of clients and potential clients
Excellent time and project management to juggle completing deadlines, priorities and demands
