ICF is seeking an Environmental Planner for Sacramento, California. Work in support of the State Environmental Planner to: - In support of activated task forces, perform environmental planning, research, and analysis to resolve issues and identify key considerations (i.e., vegetative debris, water systems) - Assist in conducting and preparing environmental studies - Prepare reports and documents including policy analyses, and environmental impact statements and assessments - Develop training - Advise and/or support appeals - Excellent understanding of NEPA, CEQA, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, Endangered Species Act (ESA) - Ability to interact with FEMA and SHIPO.
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental studies, planning, or related field
•5+ years of project management and/or professional related experience in a consulting environment
•Advanced knowledge and understanding of NEPA, CEQA, and other environmental regulations
•Extensive experience with projects in California•Experience working in a team setting with engineers,, planners, and scientists to advise clients in implementing their projects

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)•Proficiency with project financial applications (such as Deltek Vision)
