Inspector Electric Utility Restoration - What will you be doing?

• Inspect all transmission lines in accordance with the transmission management program and maintain associated records and reports.
• Inspect all work performed by line clearance contractors for safety, environmental compliance and contract specifications.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints regarding the vegetation management program.
• Coordinate with the appropriate Manager/Supervisor to schedule the work and inspect the completion of all planned/unplanned work that is generated from any of those inspections.• Responsible from time to time to perform miscellaneous duties, such as conducting audits.

Certification Requirement:• Must have a current New York DOT Traffic Control certification prior to start. Certifications as required by law/regulations according to nature of inspections.

Experience Level Required:• Requires approximately 4 years of intermediate inspection work experience performing this specific job function and some managerial oversight/direction.

• Requires High School Diploma and related work experience in utilities restoration and emergency response.
