Who we’re looking for:
The project manager is responsible for collaborating with client stakeholders and colleagues to intake requests for content development. This process entails alignment of requirements, scope and timelines including management of estimates and workflow within tools / platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring content that has been approved by the editorial team is created on time and on budget. The project manager role requires an individual who understands the nuances of content production processes and the roles required for various forms of media including: long and short form articles; display banners, slideshows and guides; short and long form video; social content such as lists, quizzes and interactive elements. The project manager must be capable of delivering against tight timelines across a large number of digital properties with high volumes of assets being published each month. 

What you’ll get to do: 

  • The position creates project timelines, schedules kick-offs, keeps project team members on task, resolves schedule conflicts and communicates changes to key stakeholders.
  • Confirm creative reviews, contact reports, pre-bids, shoot and production schedules are assigned in a timely manner and kept on track with key dates maintained within timelines.
  • The position is responsible for workflow and assignment routing creative between account, creative, proofing and client.
  • Responsible for delivering final assets to the editorial management team. 
  • Oversee execution of all creative work to ensure that it is aligned with strategy, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Develop an expert understanding of all brand guidelines, and track and communicate to the team any changes to the standards.
  • Day to day management of project pipeline, including demand management and forecast monitoring.
  • Establish, monitor, and communicate project plans for web development and production projects aligned to client stakeholders.
  • Retains an overview of the project; tracks the milestones including details of project deliverables.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

  • 5+ years managing content production in a high volume environment with specific experience managing digital initiatives.
  • Understanding of workflow automation with experience configuring tools to support high-capacity throughput.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight timelines while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS project and Workfront.
  • Experience with Skyword content marketing platform or similar content marketing workflow platforms such as Contently or Kapost.
  • Hands-on experience developing, maintaining and implementing project plans and documentation throughout their lifecycle. These plans should include tasks, milestones, dependencies, work-effort, duration and status reports, change requests and burn reports
