Who we’re looking for:

The primary function of this role is to test emails.  The testing will include links validation, alt tag validation, rendering validation, mobile validation and content validation, minor SQL validation, among other things.  This resource will need to be able to shift priorities frequently as client deadlines and priorities change for the client.  They will need to be able to clearly communicate to team members and management status of daily tasks.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Thoroughly understand the requirements specifications and tests cases in the email testing process
  • Identify, document defects and verify defect fixes in emails
  • Communicate
    • Clearly communicate the status of each individual email task to multiple team members on multiple accounts
    • Take work direction from other members of the QA and client teams
    • Communicate risks of not meeting task deadlines to supervisor and client teams
  • Follow Process
    • Use all tools and applications required to perform the job of a QA analyst. As an example, must be able to use JIRA to log defects, use Litmus to perform email validation, etc.
    • Provide feedback on what is working within the process and where there are needed improvements and clearly communicate the suggestions
    • Effectively follow process even on quick turn items
  • Be Flexible
    • Adjust priorities frequently as schedules and client needs dictate
    • Work independently on multiple account and prioritize across multiple clients

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities to meet overall objectives
  • Proactive communicator – ability to raise issues in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal management oversight
  • Take ownership of tasks and issues and see them through to successful conclusion escalating where appropriate
  • Willingness and desire to learn
