Who we’re looking for: The Cyber Training Manager will support a program in the development and delivery of cyber training for the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is responsible for the delivery of education and training that supports the Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber workforce in Conus and OCONUS locations. The position requires a strong technical aptitude to provide subject matter expertise in areas such as: networking, defensive cyber operations, threat hunting, security operations, ethical hacking, vulnerability management and forensics to address customer inquiries. Also, it is expected that the candidate demonstrates previous supervisory experience of a medium to large team of cyber instructors. It is expected that the Cyber Training Manager will assist in the establishment and maintenance of inter-agency and external relationships for cyber related collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: The Cyber Training Manager oversees a team of 50+ cyber instructors. Through collaboration with the government client, service components and external clients, the Cyber Training Manager will participate in discussions to determine the needs and priorities of their customers to deliver training that enhances the DoD’s knowledge, skills and overall effectiveness in cyber. The Cyber Training Manager serves as an advisor and coach for career development and planning for all Cyber Instructors. The candidate will be responsible for the evaluation of program results and reporting metrics to assess the overall effectiveness of the training delivery program. The Cyber Training Manager will also be primarily responsible for ensuring that post new courseware development the instructor cadre is appropriately prepared to deliver the incorporated materials. The deliverables and work products associated with this position include: instructor career development plans, course delivery quality metrics, course delivery schedules, student survey results, presentations and status reports.

• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certified
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Network Engineering or similar discipline
• Six or more years of experience in leadership and management
• Experience with adult education and training
• Certified Technical Trainer Plus (CTT+) completed within 1 year of hire
• Master's degree in business or related discipline
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level III certified
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or SCRUM master certification
• Experience applying and validating instructional design and curriculum development methodologies and learning strategies in DoD
- Experience in overseeing changes to application frameworks in response to technology shifts or operational changes.
