Senior Information Security Analyst

Do you have a background in Information Security and Assessments?  
ICF seeks a seasoned Information Security Analyst to support our DoD client in researching and analyzing commercial and DoD telecommunications and supporting infrastructure, both domestically and internationally to understand interdependencies, vulnerabilities, and mission impacts.  This position involves a mix of client site (Ft. Meade) and remote work, plus travel.  

Project work may include:

- Researching and analyzing information on domestic and international telecommunications infrastructure and studies of telecommunications system vulnerabilities

- Conducting related site assessments

- Identifying network interdependencies and risks

- Proposing potential solutions
- Preparing reports and briefings on a variety of topics
- There will be a variety of projects to support, so time and quality management are important
Basic Qualifications you’ll need to have:  

-10+ years of relevant experience in information security including capability in many of the following areas:

- Analysis of legacy and contemporary military and commercial information control systems, assets, networks, nodes, and protocols

- Engineering and design of networks including layered, "defense-in-depth" security architectures and identifying solutions

- Analysis of information security threats and recommending and implementing effective countermeasures

- Providing comprehensive gap analysis of policy, procedures, and configurations

- Analysis and documenting network topologies and network components

- Modeling of wireless radio frequency propagation

- Use of GIS software in analysis efforts

- Preparing DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) or other certification and accreditation packages

- Possess certifications in cyber/information security (e.g., DoDI 8140.01-M or equivalent, CISSP, Network+, Security+)

Top Secret level security clearance, with SCI eligibility   

Professional Skills/Experience you’ll need:

- Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing program support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications, especially with Word, Powerpoint, and Excel- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills

- Ability to successfully manage working to team and client goals while working remotely
