Marketing Technology Strategist

Position Summary
ICF Olson is looking for a Sr. Consultant with extensive experience in the Marketing Technology Strategy field along with associated business and process knowledge. As the Sr. Consultant in Marketing Technology Strategy you will work directly with clients to identify business objectives; define paths and roadmaps to achieve those goals; select platforms and products; design solutions; plan governance, enablement and adoption activities and partner with the implementation team to deliver the solution. Key Responsibilities
• Work with ICF Olson customers on their Digital Transformation and to identify objectives and success factors.
• Interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and document goals, business and functional requirements, analyze current digital tools and processes, and plan for the future digital ecosystem.
• Conduct solutions presentations, ensure understanding and alignment and obtain customer acceptance to solution design.
• Build upon your strong technology background and apply it directly in business and marketing settings
• Internal and customer facing advocate for Marketing Automation
• Partner with Director, Strategy, Research and Marketing Technology to build out a team of marketing technologists and strategists
• Consulting and providing subject matter expertise for strategy and marketing technology projects across a breadth of industries
• Conduct detailed reviews on a regular basis of your own work as well as work by the team
• Conduct analyses of customer digital marketing activities to uncover opportunities for applying Marketing Technology techniques, products and best practices
• Support business development activities, leveraging your strategy and marketing technology skills
• Identify new opportunities in the field by building relationships with external suppliers and partners
• Work with Strategy and Marketing Technology practice lead to grow and mentor practice

Job Requirements
• Strong analytical thinker, with demonstrated ability to seamlessly pivot between high-level, strategic activities and detailed delivery tasks
• 5+ years experience in technical business consulting with an emphasis on strategy, marketing technology, research, data, and analytics roles
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a consultant role and provide the necessary level of leadership and partnership to internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to translate high-level direction to specific deliverables and effectively plan self-assigned tasks efficiently in complex work streams
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
• Ability to capture business requirements, work with product owners to create functional requirements and architect technology roadmaps and solutions
• Understanding of marketing technology and digital product ecosystem. Ability to speak on the role of multiple digital areas, including: Analytics, Personalization, Automation, Data Management, CRM, Content Management, and Asset Management.
• Strong business, high detail-orientation and solid logical acumen
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and set/re-set priorities on an ongoing basis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills appropriately applied to all levels of seniority
• Bachelor’s degree required

Additional Considerations
• Familiarity with one of the primary ICF Olson partner platforms: Adobe Experience Cloud, Episerver, Sitecore, Acquia, Salesforce, Amazon Web Services, Google Services, and Hybris.
• Proven history of successfully delivering projects using the Agile Unified Methodology
