At ICF, our work with clients offers a global perspective with local application—helping clients in specific geographies achieve the goals that are unique not only to their markets, but also their communities.
Our work with the transportation industry highlights this approach. In this ICF and E3 report, we take a look at the grid benefits of commercial and non-road market segments, which are Phase 3 of the CalETC project. The report includes analysis of medium and heavy-duty trucks (including buses), forklifts, truck stop electrification, and electric transport refrigeration units within California. It quantifies the grid benefits to California as a whole and specifically to all ratepayers. ICF also identified market gaps, barriers, and potential solutions for commercial and non-road sectors.
