Anita Rechler

Senior Vice President, Housing and Community Development
Anita is an expert in housing program design with more than 30 years of experience.

Anita is a nationally recognized housing program designer, public policy planner, and analyst in the field of affordable housing and community development. She has worked on high-profile projects, including our Hurricane Katrina recovery project, and has directed several multimillion-dollar research, training, and community development consulting efforts.

Anita joined our organization in 1989. Prior to that, she planned and implemented housing and community development programs for local government. She also managed training and technical assistance initiatives for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
