Dr. Geoffrey Lairumbi

Dr. Geoffrey Lairumbi has more than 13 years of experience in health systems strengthening, capacity building, data demand and use, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and operations research. He has conducted health system performance assessments with a focus on capacity building, data demand and use in policy and practice, and health systems governance. As the associate director for the sub-national capacity building and systems strengthening for the MEASURE Evaluation PIMA project in Kenya, he provides technical leadership and direction to a team of advisors and regional M&E associates implementing M&E capacity building and systems strengthening activities. He holds a first degree in anthropology, master in health care provision and a PhD in public health.
