Catul designs and implements effective strategies to deploy next-generation energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives, with more than 15 years of experience working with public and private sector clients.

Catul has more than 15 years of experience working with public and private sector clients, including electric and gas utilities, state and federal government agencies, and retailers, manufacturers, and other market actors to tackle a broad range of energy initiatives.

He is an expert at designing and implementing energy efficiency programs, developing capital investment strategies, assessing the value of distributed energy resources, turning regulatory compliance requirements into strategic business opportunities, and rethinking grid planning, data analytics, and customer engagement.

Catul has led and provided support to projects for utilities such as Baltimore Gas and Electric , Pepco Holdings Inc. (PHI), Atlantic City Electric, Southern Maryland Electric Coop, Georgia Power, Detroit Edison, Duke Energy, Evergy, and Entergy Mississippi. He has worked extensively with the national ENERGY STARĀ® program, providing support to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency efforts to develop public-private partnerships with utilities, retailers, manufacturers, state governments, and regional market transformation organizations.
