A Lightbulb Moment
ICF sparked a digital ‘lightbulb moment’ across Wisconsin through Focus on Energy, a utility investor owned program that saves residents money via efficiency incentives. Using social media, online banner ads and radio spots, , we drove folks to Focus on Energy’s website, where Wisconsinites learned how to save money on energy efficient lighting, appliances, and smart thermostats.
In the campaign’s first year in market (2016), it resulted in a 629.54% surge in website visits. The page swelled with 66,750 new users (a 511.38% increase). Most impressively, Focus on Energy exceeded its energy savings goals by 109.9% in 2016 and again in 2017 by 134.45%.
